Jose A. Viveiros

Jose A. Viveiros, Sr., 74, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at St. Anne’s Hospital.

He was the husband of Mary Rose (Peixoto) Viveiros.

Born in João Bom, Bretanha, St.Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Antonio G. and Maria (Luz) Viveiros.

A construction worker for many years, he was an expert curb setter.

He adored his grandchildren, who were his joy in life.

Jose enjoyed maintaining the house, gardening, and watching and playing soccer.

Besides his wife of 52 years, he leaves his son, Joseph A. “Joey” Viveiros, Jr. (companion Helena Sousa) and his daughter, Tammy DaCamara (husband Antonio) of Westport;

Five grandchildren, Logan and Leah DaCamara and Alyssa , Brady and Collyn Viveiros;

Three siblings, Maria Rosario “Rosarinha” Silva, John L. Viveiros and Maryanne Viveiros;

Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and visitation are private. (for family only) Saturday, May 25, visitation at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM with a funeral service in the funeral home at 9:00 AM.

Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
