Jose M Carreiro

Jose M. Carreiro, 55, of 1863 Pleasant St., Fall River, died Sunday, May 27, 2007 at Crawford Skilled Nursing. Born in Maia, Ribeira Grande, Azores, the son of Branca da Conceicao Branco of Fall River and the late Jose Carreiro, he lived in Fall River for over 30 years. A general contractor, he served in the Portuguese Army. Besides his mother he leaves, 2 sons, Joseph Carreiro and Peter Carreiro, both of Fall River; 3 daughters including Claudette Carreiro of Fall River; 2 grandchildren, Laycie Marie Carreiro and Joseph Carreiro, Jr.; 3 sisters, Laura, Aurora and Lurdes Carreiro, all of Azores, Portugal; and 2 brothers, Joaquim and Nuno Carreiro, both of Fall River. His funeral was private.
