Jose J. Medeiros

Jose J. Medeiros, 62, of Boutwell St., Fall River, died Saturday, April 29, 2006. He was the husband of Maria (Pimentel) Medeiros. Born in Furnas, St. Michael, Azores, the son of the late Manuel and Georgiana (Rodrigues) Medeiros, he lived in Fall River for the past 33 years. He was employed by the Foxboro Co., Bristol Finishing and Quaker Fabrics. He served in the Portuguese Army and was a soccer fan. Besides his wife of 31 years, survivors include 2 daughters, Alda Medeiros and Theresa Medeiros, both of Fall River; 2 sisters, Connie Texeira and Lillian Camara, both of Fall River; 2 nieces and a nephew. He was the brother of the late Gilbert Medeiros. His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Espirito Santo Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Monday 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
