Jose Dasilva

Jose DaSilva, 88, of Fall River, husband of Lucille (Rebello) DaSilva, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017.

He was employed by the John F. Capaldi and Campanella & Cardi Construction Company. He enjoyed fishing, was a member of the Liberal Club and a Benefica Soccer fan and cherished his 1966 Mustang.

Besides his wife of 58 years, he leaves two daughters, Susan Franco and her husband Douglas and Cheryl Ferreira, all of Fall River; granddaughters, Courtney Destefano and her husband Edmund and Nicole Franco; a great-granddaughter, Lucilla Rose Destefano; and a sister, Kathleen DeSa of Westport. He was the son of the late Maria Jose Monte and the brother of the late Manuel DaSilva.

His funeral will be held Thursday at 8:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Anne Shrine at 9:00 AM. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery.

Visitation, Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
