Jose Carreiro

Jose Carreiro, 70, of Dwelly St., Fall River, formerly of Orange St., husband of Maria M. (DoSantos) Carreiro, died Saturday, June 30, 2012. Born in Fajé� de Cima, Ponta Delgada, Azores, he was the son of the late Manuel and Maria (Dos Anjos) Carreiro. Besides his wife of 48 years, he leaves 4 sons, Raul M. Carreiro and his wife Marilia and Stanley A. Carreiro and his wife Elizabeth all of Bermuda, Jose E. Carreiro and his wife Rosa of Freetown, MA and Robert C. Carreiro and his wife Monique Medeiros of Fall River; grandchildren, Chris, Chelsea, Lorie-Lyn, Jeremy, Kelsey, Darren, Dillon and Avah Carreiro; brothers and sisters in the Azores and Canada; and nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church at 9:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Monday evening 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
