Jorge M. Raposo

Jorge M. Raposo, 51, of Fall River, entered into rest at home, Sunday, June 5, 2016. Born in St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of Jose and Esmerelda (Soares) Raposo of Fall River. He was employed in the construction industry. His hobbies included fishing, camping and playing pool. He was a very artistic man who enjoyed spending time with his family. Besides his parents, survivors include four children, Derek Raposo, Alex Raposo, Alexis Raposo and Ryan Raposo; siblings Susan Raposa, Essie DeMelo, Helen Cabral, Anna Almeida, Sandy Moniz and Richard Raposa and nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Carlos Raposa. His funeral will be held Thursday at 8:00 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Santo Christo Church, Columbia St. Fall River, at 9:00 a.m. Interment, will be at St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
