Jorge Pavao

Jorge "Zola" Pavao, 90, of Fall River, husband of Maria Conceição (Freitas) Pavao, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020.

Born in Amoreiras, Ajuda da Bretanha, São Miguel, Açores, he loved his garden, animals, watching wrestling, old western movies, but most of all, spending time with his children and grandchildren. He had a love for life and touched everyone he met. He is loved by all and will be missed.

Besides his wife of 65 years, he is survived by six children, Mary Ellen Pavao, Mary Lou Machado, Jorge Pavao, Jr., Donna Pavao, Michael Pavao and Kimberly Raposo; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Antonio Pavao, brother of the late ten siblings and the son of the late Manuel "Zola" and Maria Emelia Pavao.

His funeral will take place Tuesday, December 29th at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., with a Funeral Mass at Espirito Santo Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
