Jonathan P. Mello

Jonathan P. Mello, 43, of Fall River, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022, after a courageous battle with a long time illness. He was employed by Stop & Shop.

He was the son of Janice Lee (St.Germain) Mello of Fall River and the late Manuel Luis Mello;

the brother of Jennifer Mello; uncle of Kaleb, Kallie and Ethan Mello;

He also leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jonathan enjoyed playing games with his family, telling jokes and showing off his latest sleight of hand trick.

A lover of nature, he often went hiking, loved camping, especially  sitting around the campfire and was always up for an adventure.

He loved binge watching Dr. Who (his favorite TV series) and especially enjoyed going for breakfast with family or friends, as this was his favorite meal of the day.

Jon enjoyed making puzzles and was always up for the challenge of solving any type of puzzle especially brain teasers.

Jon loved to work with his hands and enjoyed making models. The more intricate, the better for him.   He enjoyed collecting various items such as comic books and Dr. Who memorabilia.

Jonathan remained positive throughout his illness and was a strong role model for his family and friends.

His visitation will be held Monday, August 22, 2022,

from  4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute , Boston Massachusetts.
