Jonathan C. Almeida

Jonathan C. Almeida, 28, of Harpswell, Maine, died Thursday, June 15, 2006. The son of Deborah (Wordell) Cornish and Anthony Cornish of Harpswell, Maine, he lived in Maine most of his life. A writer and poet, he graduated from Ararat High School, Topsham, Maine and worked as a landscaper and lumberjack. Besides his parents, survivors include a sister, Tasha Cornish of Harpswell; a brother, Todd Botelho of Lisbon Falls, Maine; his grandparents, Charles and Joan (Farias) Ayash or Escondido, California and Lilyette Cornish of Bowdoin, Maine; his great-grandfather, Joseph Farias of Tiverton and aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be held Sunday evening at 6:30 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow. Visitation, prior to the service Sunday, from 4:00 to 6:30 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance to the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
