John F. Simons

John F. Simons, 81, of Hartwell St., Fall River, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015. A Navy veteran of the Korean War and a former employee of the A. J. Mitchell Company, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and enjoyed bingo. He leaves his former wife, Janice (Greenwood) Simons of Fall River; four children, Beth Veader and her husband Al of Swansea, John Simons and his wife Lori of Tiverton, Mark Simons of Missouri and David Simons and his fiancée Ashley Barbosa of Fall River; grandchildren, Haley and Connor Simons; sisters, Barbara Grillo, Sis Brodie and Marilyn Malenfant, all of Florida; and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late John Simons and Lillian (Lynch) Simons Rego and the brother of the late Nancy Kenyon. Visitation at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, Saturday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 3:30 p.m. Large parking area and barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
