SSG John "Koko" Kokoszka, US Army, retired, 72, of Fall River, formerly of Portsmouth, RI and Somerset, husband of the late Lorraine (LaCroix) Kokoszka and son of the late John and Ida (Bouffard) Kokoszka, died Sunday, November 23, 2008.
He served in the Air Force for 14 years and the Massachusetts Army National Guard for 15 years and was employed by Rex Linen.
He leaves 3 children, Debra DiSanti (husband Donald) of Westport, MA, David Kokoszka (wife Lori) of Swansea and Michael Kokoszka (wife Diane) of Franklin, MA; grandchildren, Jeanna, Michael and Joseph DiSanti, Kristin Rebello (husband Matthew) and Jennifer, Brittany and Tyler Kokoszka; siblings, Barbara Cordeiro and Henry, Walter and Gerry Kokoszka and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Immaculate Conception Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
