John Paul Gray, 35, of Farnham St., Fall River, died at home, Friday, June 1, 2007, following a long illness.
The son of Donna (Gray) Hastie of Fall River, he was a lifelong resident of Fall River, having been raised by his grandparents, Doris (Berube) Gray of Fall River and the late James H. Gray.
He was employed by Poirier Buick Pontiac GMC, Club Neptune, the Quequechan Club, Gold Medal Bakery and New England Rope.
He loved the Red Sox, camping and bike riding. An amateur historian of the second world war, he was an avid history buff.
Besides his mother and grandmother he is survived by
a son, Ethan Gray Wood of Rhode Island
3 sisters, Sharon Gray, Laurie Gray and Cathy Manton, all of Fall River;
3 brothers, James Gray, Kenneth Gray and Douglas Hastie, all of Fall River;
his beloved companion Ly Touch
and nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.
Visitation, Wednesday prior to the service from 5:00 to 7:30 PM.
PORTICO, BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE and LARGE PARKING AREA at the rear of funeral home.
