Obituarywith photo John J. "Jack" Feroce, 71, of Marion, MA, passed away at Saint Anne's Hospital, Fall River, on April 21, 2006 after a long illness. Born in Lawrence, MA on 2/20/1935, he was the son of the late John and Jennie (Faggiano) Feroce. He is survived by his 4 loving children - Jeffrey of New Bedford, Jonathan of Shelton, CT, Lt. Commander James of Cantonment, FL and Jennifer MacDonald of Naples, FL; 7 grandchildren,; his sister Judith Lawrence of Silver City, NM; his brothers Joseph of Attleboro and Jeffrey of Rupert, ID; and his former wife Joan Riley of Warwick, RI. John was a 1956 graduate of RISD and worked as an engineer for the Drackett Company, Milton Bradley and Hasbro. He was a member of St. Rita's Parish in Marion and for the past 5 years he was a docent at the New Bedford Whaling Museum. He was an avid sailor, skier and golfer, and enjoyed building and flying model airplanes. A memorial service will be held May 1 at 12 noon in Seamen's Bethel, 15 Johnny Cake Hill, New Bedford.
