John R. English

John R. "Jack" English, 72, of Fall River, husband of the late Marilyn (Dunse) Arruda, died Friday, April 1, 2011. A Fall River Housing Authority commissioner and former inspector, he was also employed by Viti Mercedes-Benz and was a Fall River School Department paraprofessional. Survivors include 6 children, Kenneth Arruda (wife Edith) of Hampton, NH, Gary Arruda (wife Kristine) of Clinton Township, MI, Lynne Ritter (husband Rich) of Maumee, OH, Timothy Arruda of New Bedford, Monica Burns (husband Corby) of Wayne ME and Joseph Arruda (wife Laurie) of Fall River; a sister, Lorraine Jasukonis of Templeton, MA;12 grandchildren; a great-grandson; and nieces and nephews. Following cremation, a funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery to follow.
