John J. Blake

John J. Blake, 86, of Scottsdale, Arizona, formerly of Fall River and Portsmouth, RI, husband of Susan (Turek) Blake, died Tuesday, February 19, 2008. A plumbing contractor and Army Air Force veteran of WW II, he was a member of the American Legion. Besides his wife of 59 years, he leaves a sister, Margaret Blake and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Jeremiah and Margaret (Kelly) Blake and the brother of the late Rita Mitchell and Gerald and William Blake. His funeral will be held in Fall River, Monday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., with a funeral mass in Good Shepherd Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation, Sunday 3:00 to 7:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA & BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
