Joao L. Pavao

Joao L. Pavao, 47, of Dale St., Fall River, husband of Maria Lucia (Raposo) Pavao, died Friday, April 3, 2009. A mason, he was employed by J & F Contracting, West Newton, MA for 23 years. Besides his wife of 24 years, he leaves 2 children, Tania Moura and her husband Eric and Kevin Pavao, all of Fall River; 2 grandchildren, Alyssa St.Laurent and Alexander Moura; his mother, Helena Farias of Winnipeg, MB, Canada; siblings, Amancio and Maria do Carmo both of St. Michael, Azores, Leonor of Bermuda and Fatima, Laura, Teresa, Benvida and Carlos, all of Canada, and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Herculano Pavao and the brother of the late Tony. His funeral will be held Thursday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, followed by a service in Espirito Santo Church at 9:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Wednesday 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
