Joao F. Mello, 71, of State Ave., Fall River, a retired dairy farmer, husband of Liduina (Cabeceiras) Mello, died Thursday, February 20, 2014. Besides his wife of 44 years, he leaves 5 children, Manuel Mello (wife Debbie), Lisa Rodrigues (husband Joao), Maria Moniz (husband Manny), Dina Jason (husband Mike) and Kathy Mello; 12 grandchildren; siblings and nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Joseph Mello and the son of the late Manuel Vieira Mello and Maria DosAnjos Correiro. His funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Good Shepherd Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Sunday, 3:00 to 7:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
