Joanne (Simonetti) Potvin

Joanne (Simonetti) Potvin, 91, of Fall River, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

She was the wife of the late Henry P. Potvin.

Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, Joanne was the daughter of Alfred and Evelyn (Casey) Simonetti.

Joanne (grandma Jo) worked in the office at Lightolier in Fall River for most of her life. When she retired she worked in the kitchen at Bristol Elders. Joanne loved large breed dogs and had many over the course of her life. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed growing different types of flowers and vegetables. She also enjoyed crafting and playing games on her computer. In her younger years she loved conversing and cooking out on her deck with family and friends.

She is survived by her stepdaughter, Muriel Bartlett (husband Darren); her granddaughter Melissa Banville, grandson Adam Banville (wife Vivian); three great grandchildren, Ariana Banville, Gwen Banville, and Gary Dumoulin; and nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Alfred Russel Simonetti, Edward Simonetti, and Joseph Simonetti.

She will be sadly missed by her family.
