Joann (Zackaseski) Harney

JoAnn (Zackaseski) Harney, 77, of Fall River, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022.

She was the wife of the late Thomas V. Harney, Sr. Born in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Edward P. and Verna M. (Baksi) Zackaseski.

She was employed by Globe Assembly on Kilburn St. Fall River and Ann + Hope in Dartmouth, MA.  Her hobbies included knitting and playing games on her ipad. She enjoyed traveling.

JoAnn leaves three sons, Thomas V. Harney, Jr. and his wife Debra, Christopher Harney and Paul Harney and his fiancée Dee; She cherished time spent with her three grandchildren, Jennifer, Zachary and Cody and her three great-grandchildren, Payton, Layla and Hayes.

She is also survived by her two brothers, Joseph and Paul Zackaseski and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM  at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So.Main St. Fall River.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 9:00 AM from the funeral home with a Funeral Mass at Holy Name Church, Hanover St., at 10:00 AM.

Burial, Saint Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
