Joan B. (Farias) Thibault

Joan B. (Farias) Thibault, 76, of Rehoboth, entered into rest Monday, August 8, 2016.

A graduate of Sacred Hearts Academy, Class of 1957, she was employed by the former Fall River Nursing Home for 17 years. She cared for the religious at Dominican Academy, Union of Sacred Hearts, and The Landmark and was a volunteer at Beacon Hospice.

She was the mother of her primary caregiver Darlene Hyson (husband David) of Rehoboth,
Charlene Onasile of East Providence, RI, Joseph De Mello of Dighton, Brandy Carvalho and Mary Anne Moniz (husband Ronald) all of Florida, the stepmother of Gail Costa, Wendy Rosatti, and the late Salvation Army Captain Henry Thibault; the grandmother of 15, the great-grandmother of two, the sister of Joseph Farias of Tiverton and the late Army Sergeant, John S. Farias; and the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Souza) Farias.

Following cremation, her funeral service will be held Saturday at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River at 12:00 noon. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
