Joan A. (Taggart) Reed

Joan A. (Taggart) Reed, 77, of Fall River, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 at home.  She was the wife of Kenneth J. “Ken” Reed, Sr.

Joan enjoyed ceramics, cooking, baking and shopping.  Before her retirement, she was employed as a home health aide and also worked for   The Pine Factory.

Besides her husband of over 61 years, she leaves five children, Kenneth J. Reed, Jr. (late wife Tina), Terry Skarpos (husband Konstantinos “Gus” Skarpos), Kevin M. Reed (wife Deanna), Lori Hathaway and Scott C. Reed (wife Lori);

13 grandchildren, Timothy, Susie, Michelle, Christos, Appollon, Elleni, Kevin, Evan, Sarah, Joshua, Tabitha, Bobby and Hannah;four great grandchildren, Demetra, Theo, Milo and Kazel; a brother, Edward “Teddy” Taggart; many nieces and nephews.

Joan was the daughter of the late Frank “Edward” Taggart and Aida (Shoesmith) Taggart.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation in the Auclair Funeral Home, which will be held   Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 4:00 PM  to  8:00 PM.  A funeral service will be held during the visitation at a time to be announced.

Burial at Oak Grove Cemetery will be private.
