TRIBUTE FOR JOAN

Joan M. Lafleur, 63, of Fall River, formerly of Assonet, widow of Donald Lafleur, died Friday, January 16, 2009.
She leaves 4 children, Joan Ferry, Valerie Quintal and Scott A. Lafleur, all of Fall River and Brian Lafleur of Portsmouth, RI; grandchildren, Daniel and Ashley Quintal, Timothy Ferry and Bryce Soares; siblings, Herbert Fontaine of Portsmouth, Norman Fontaine of East Providence, Louise Gardella of CA, Helen Thibault of Westport, Barbara Bonas of Tiverton, Roger Fontaine of NC and Jeanne Mello, Maureen Gagnon, William Fontaine and Alan Fontaine, all of Fall River and nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Anna (Kelman) Fontaine and the sister of the late Gladys Gagne, Anna Smith and Wilfred and Robert Fontaine.
Her funeral service will be held Tuesday at 12:00 NOON in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
Visitation, Monday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hudner Oncology Center, 795 Middle St., Fall River MA 02721 would be greatly appreciated.
