Jo Ann Hrycaj of Rotonda West, FL, went to be with her Lord on December 23, 2014. She was the wife of E. Nicholas Hrycaj to whom she was married thirty-five years. Born in Attleboro on July 28, 1949. She was the daughter of the late L. Robert Turcotte and Elaine Fallows Valade. She was raised in Attleboro and North Attleboro. Beside her husband, she leaves her mother, Elaine Valade and three sisters; Nancy Dillon and husband Michael of Rehoboth, Mary-Beth Rubyck and husband Thomas of North Attleboro, Jeanine Webber and husband Gerald of Rehoboth, two brothers; Richard Turcotte and wife Kimberly of Wrentham, MA, James Turcotte and wife Suzanne of Plainville, MA, several nieces and nephews, step-son Curtis Hrycaj and wife Lee and brother-in-law David Hrycaj and wife Celeste of Fort Myers, FL. Jo Ann lived in Touisset, RI after she married. She was a devoted member of New Hope Christian Church in Swansea, MA. In 1997 Jo Ann and Nick moved to Rotonda West, FL where they joined Calvary Baptist Church. Jo Ann was a loving and meticulous caregiver to her in-laws, Geneva and Eddie Hrycaj. She was an outdoor enthusiast, especially partial to her morning walks. She also enjoyed gardening, kayaking, bird watching and hiking in the mountains. Jo Ann loved to cook and was an avid baker, much to the delight of her family and friends. Donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice, 1144 Veronica St., Port Charlotte FL 33952. Her funeral was private funeral arrangements entrusted to Auclair Funeral Home, Fall River.
