Jesse Martin

Jesse Martin, 32, of Assonet, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday January 18th, 2018 in Fall River, MA.

Born in Fall River, he was the son of Jodi Martin of Fall River and Kenneth Kitchen of Assonet and the stepson of Tony Costa Jr. of Fall River.

Besides his parents, he leaves his two young daughters Jade and Kierra Martin whom absolutely adore their daddy. The mother of his children, Karisa Janvrin and his two dogs Harley and Bear. Also survived by his cousin, Amanda Dawn (Mandi Martin), who was like a sister to him and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jesse was a carpenter, a mechanic and a phenomenal cook. He was a renaissance man if you will. He was amazing at writing poetry, drawing, woodworking and painting. He was always very creative, inventive and knowledgeable. Jesse loved nature and connected with animals. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking through the forest, fishing, and going to the beach. Going for walks with Jade and Kierra was one of his favorite things to do.

Jesse had the kindest of hearts and an amazing soul. He was always smiling, joking and making everyone laugh. He was fiercely protective of those he loved and when he loved, he loved whole heartedly. Jesse will be deeply missed but he will live on in our hearts and will never be forgotten.

For visitation, Family, friends and others whose lives Jesse touched are invited to Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River, on Saturday, February 3rd from 12-2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Jade and Kierra Martin College Fund, written to their mother, Karisa M.
