Jerry Sylvia

Jerry Sylvia, 57, of No. Dartmouth, formerly of Fall River and Tiverton, died Saturday, June 8, 2013. A graduate of Tiverton High School and former Navy Reservist, he was a Pipe Coverer with Local 31, International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers' Union. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and New England Patriots fan. He leaves a son, Christopher Sylvia and a grandson Tobin Sylvia, both of New Bedford, a daughter Jamie; a brother, Michael Sylvia and his former wife Beverly Sylvia, both of No. Dartmouth; a niece, Amy Sylvia of Fall River and grandnieces and grandnephews, Sean and Desiree McKay of No. Dartmouth, Dustin Mello of Taunton and Tatianna Carson of Fall River. He was the son of the late Raymond and Ann (Latinville) Sylvia. Visitation in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River Wednesday 5:00 to 8:00 PM with a funeral service at 7:00 PM.
