LAVALLEE, Jennifer Ann (Coelho), age 37 passed away peacefully on Thursday April 6, 2023 surrounded by family. Jenni was a witty, vibrant, fun-loving spirit that filled every room she entered with humor and positivity. A lover of movies and video games, especially Star Trek Voyager, Fallout, the Legend of Zelda, Harry Potter, and geek culture in general, Jenni was always unapologetically herself. She never minced words when it came to what she liked or didn’t like, and was often the only one at the table courageous enough to send back a meal she didn’t enjoy. Just as Jenni was fearless in her opinions, she was even more fierce for those she loved. She would go above and beyond for a perfect stranger, and for those closest to her, always knew exactly how to make them feel unique and special. Jenni loved deeply. She loved her family and friends, both human and feline.
Jenni was the daughter of the late Susana P. Coelho, niece of the late Hilda Ouellette, and granddaughter of the late Agostinho and Eugenia Palhinha. Jenni was a client services advocate at MOO, Inc. where she is described by coworkers as “a ray of light to those who knew her.” Prior to moving to Uxbridge, Jenni was raised in Fall River where she graduated from B.M.C. Durfee High School in 2003. A devoted violist in the Fall River Symphony, she loved her sectionmates and had many fond memories of her years playing in the ensemble.
Jenni is survived by her father Herman E. Coelho, brother Michael H. Coelho, brother-in-law Brian Pereira-Coelho, grandparents Hermano and Virginia Coelho, aunts and uncles: Jenny and John Smyka, Nina Palhinha, Zita and Peter Clark, Lucy and Robert Pimentel, Grace and Sean Hennessey, Suzanna and Phil Raposo, and several important, loving cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 10, 2023 from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St., Fall River, with a Funeral Mass at Holy Name Church, Fall River, at 10 a.m. Burial will take place at Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River, MA.
