Jennie (Gasior) Raszkiewicz, 96, Formerly of Buffinton St., Fall River, widow of Edward Raszkiewicz, died Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Catholic Memorial Home.
At Holy Cross Church, she was a member of the Holy Rosary Society and Marian Medal recipient. A member of the Polish Women's Alliance, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, knitting and crocheting.
The daughter of the late Stanislaw and Marja (Wieszczek) Gasior, she was the sister of Salomea "Sally" Martin of Fall River, Stephanie "Esther" Watson of Norfolk, VA and the late Walter Gasior and Stella Lavoie and was much loved and cared for by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 10:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Cross Church of Saints Peter and Paul Parish at 11:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery.
Visitation, Monday morning prior to the funeral from 9:00 to 10:30 AM. Donations to Beacon Hospice, 182 No. Main St., Fall River MA 02720 would be appreciated.
