Jeannine L. "Jean" (Laroche) Moquin

Jeannine L. "Jean" (LaRoche) Moquin, 73, of Assonet, wife of Raymond J. "Moe" Moquin and daughter of the late Philip and Gertrude (LaRoche) Levesque, died peacefully in her home after a long illness surrounded by the love of her family, Saturday, July 12, 2014 . Jean always looked forward to birthday celebrations when her family could spend time together. She was excited for any excuse to gather. It was so appropriate that she passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loved ones. A homemaker, she enjoyed her family, crocheting, cooking and entertaining friends and relatives. Besides her husband of 54 years, she leaves 4 children, Charlene Sylvia and her husband Michael of Sandy, Utah, Sharon Dawson and her husband Eric of Richland, WA, Raymond P. Moquin and his wife Suzanne of Assonet and James M. Moquin and his wife Betsy of Leesport, PA; grandchildren, Andrew Sylvia (wife Ashley), Nathan Sylvia (wife Lacy), Greggory Sylvia (wife Erika), Cory Dawson (wife Kira), AJ Dawson (wife Teasha), Morgan, Maddie, Justin and Toni Moquin and Cassandra and Ethan Moquin; siblings, Mike LaRoche of Assonet, Roger Levesque and Paul Levesque, both of Florida and Charles "Chuck" Levesque of Taunton; 10 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Bernard Church, Assonet, at 10:30 AM. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Tuesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
