Jeannette (Francoeur) Roy, 89, of Tiverton, wife of late Andre A Roy, entered into rest Thursday, December 22, 2016

She retired from Stop & Shop in Fall River. She also worked at Grant's Department Store, Edgars Department Store, Duffy's Drug Store in Tiverton, and Midland Print in Fall River. She was a member of the St. Mary's Cathedral Seniors Club & the Retired Retail Clerks. Jeannette enjoyed doing for her family, playing bingo and playing the slot machines at Foxwood's Casino.

She leaves 4 children, Richard A. Roy and his wife Christine and Susan D. Plourde and her husband Robert, all of Portsmouth, RI, Diane R. Venafro and her husband Louis and Kenneth W. Roy and his wife Tina of Tiverton, RI; 5 grandchildren, Brian, Kevin, Steven, Jason Plourde and Alexis Roy; siblings, Germaine Sirois, Arthur Francoeur, Gertrude Chouinard, and Robert Donald Francoeur, all of Fall River, and Noela Dahlman of Sauk Village, IL. She was the daughter of the late Ferdinand Francoeur and Rose Delima (Yelle) Francoeur and the sister of the late Roland Michael Francoeur, Lorraine Messier, Armand Francoeur, and Raymond Francoeur.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Holy Ghost Church, Tiverton, at 10:00 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.

Visitation, Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham MA 01701.
