Jeannette L. "Jean" (Patenaude) Kalil, 76, of Sherman St., Fall River, died Monday, September 25, 2006 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
She was the wife of Kalil S. "Charles" Kalil.
A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Mary (Rioux) Patenaude,
A graduate of B.M.C. Durfeee High School and a former hairdresser, she was associated with her husband in the operation of Kalco Sales.
A devoted wife and mother and tremendous cook, she was past-president of the former Exchangettes and a member of the Friends of Saint Anne's Hospital and The Ladies Christian Unity of Calvary United Presbyterian Church.
Besides her husband of 52 years, she is survived by
2 daughters, Charlene J. Khoury and her husband Thomas of Fall River and Jean H. Saber and her husband Mark of Coconut Creek, Florida;
a son, Charles D. Kalil and his wife Phyllis of Coconut Creek;
7 grandchildren, Adam, Leeza, Jahnna and Giulia Khoury, Jillian and Alexander Saber and Corey James Kalil
and nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Rita Tanguay, Cecile Terry, Olivette "Pat" Rudon and Henry, Roger and Robert Patenaude.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral service in Calvary United Presbyterian Church, Harrison St., at 10:00 AM.
Burial, Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation, Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
