Jeannette D. Hague 96 years of age and a lifelong resident of Fall River died peacefully at her home Saturday, September 25, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Rose (Dube) Ouellette and Albert Ouellette. She was predeceased by her sister Anita (Ouellette) Couture and her brother Norman Ouellette. She was married to the late Thomas Hague co owner of T and R Seat Covers on County St. in Fall River. After his death, she went back to school and obtained a GED from Bristol Community College. She used her new skills working with young people as a teacher’s assistant at the Davol School. She worked in this position for 20 years assisting in first and second grade classes. She truly loved working with these children and they loved her in return. They even rolled out the red carpet for her last day at school when she retired. After her retirement, she continued traveling all over Europe and the US. and of course playing Bingo, her favorite game.
She is survived by her son, Bruce N. Hague CPA - founding partner in the firm Hague and Sahady and his wife Sarah (Sears) Hague, three grandchildren: John Hague of Brooklyn, NY, Tricia (Hague) Doran of Naples, FL, and Elizabeth Hague of Carver, MA. She also leaves behind two great grandchildren: Meghan and Robert Doran of Naples, FL, 2 grand dogs, 7 great grand dogs and 5 grand horses. For her family she leaves a set of principles to live by and a philosophy of helping people whenever possible and always treating people with respect.
Visiting hours at Auclair Funeral Home will be on Friday from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:00 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home at 690 South Main St, Fall River, MA, with the celebration of a Catholic Mass at Holy Name Church, Hanover St. in Fall River, MA at 9:00 a.m. Entombment will be at the Notre Dame Mausoleum. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Amazing Grace Equine Rescue PO Box 465 Middleboro, MA 02346.
