Jeannette "Jean" (Gauthier) Gagne

VISITATION JULY 7 / FUNERAL JULY 8 Our loving mother, Jeannette Gagne, passed away at the age of 95 at home in Middletown, RI, where she had lived for the past six months. Jeannette "Jean" lived in Tiverton for over 45 years and was a member of Holy Ghost Church along with her life-long love, husband Armand Gagne. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She touched many lives with her loving and generous nature. She enjoyed music, gardening, reading and walking. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and close friends. She was a graduate of Durfee High School in Fall River, MA. She worked as an Avon "Lady" Representative, selling door to door in her hometown of Tiverton and won an award for the top rep in NE. Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Yvonne Gauthier; brother Henry Gauthier; sisters: Claire Coffey, Beatrice Holler, and Rita Wheelock. Survived by loving husband of 73 years, Armand "Chuck" Gagne; son and daughter-in-law Ronald and Pat Gagne; daughter, Janice Gagne, son and son-in-law, Dennis Gagne and Dr. Whit Fisher; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Dawn Gagne; daughter and son-in-law, Michele and William Grant; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Denise Gagne. She had 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Her funeral will be held Friday, JULY 8, at 9:00 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Holy Ghost Church, Tiverton at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton. Visitation, Thursday, JULY 7, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. LARGE PARKING AREA & BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
