Jeannette Desrosiers

Jeannette "Jean" (Morrissette) Desrosiers, 96, of Fall River, wife of the late Leo R. Desrosiers, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 28, 2017.

A member of ILGWU-UNITE, she was employed by Stella Ann Frocks. After her retirement, she volunteered as a foster grandmother at Word Inc. for many years. She enjoyed cooking, baking and crocheting.

She leaves six children, Richard Beaupre of California, Robert Beaupre (wife Collette) of Maine, Donald Beaupre (wife Carol) of Westport, Wayne Desrosiers (wife Donna) of Bellingham and Michael Desrosiers (husband Michael John Croteau) of Fall River who were Jeannette's caretakers; a sister, Lorraine Monte of Fall river, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Joan (Beaupre) Hickey (husband Daniel of Dartmouth) and the daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha (Fournier) Morrissette and the sister of the late Bernie Son, George, Aime, Arthur and Normand Morrissette.

Visitation, at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, will be Thursday morning, November 2, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with a funeral service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. Burial following at Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
