Jeannette May (Whittle) Campos peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024. Jeannette was a devoted wife, cherished mother, loving grandmother, and caring great grandmother. She is survived by her beloved husband of 24 years, Stephen J. Campos. 

Jeannette dedicated many years of her life to working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in various nursing homes, where she provided compassionate care to those in need. Her nurturing spirit was evident in every aspect of her life, as she was regarded as a mother figure by many.

Beyond her professional life, Jeannette had many passions. She found joy in going to the casino and enjoyed playing scratch tickets. An avid supporter of New England sports, she cheered for her teams with great enthusiasm. Jeannette was also known for her culinary skills, delighting family and friends with her cooking and baking. She had a particular fondness for chocolate, ice cream, and Dunkin iced coffee, which brought her much happiness.  Jeannette also took great pride in crocheting blankets for her family.

Besides her husband, Jeannette is survived by her children, Michael Chaves (wife Stephanie), Deborah Chaves (husband Victorino), Carl Chaves (wife Traci-Anne), and Mark Chaves (husband JR Santos); her grandchildren,  Ashley Chaves, Evan Chaves, Joshua Chaves, Courtney Guerrera (husband Richard), Jordan Chaves, Amanda Borges, Felicity Chaves, and Jason Reynolds; her great grandchildren, Austin, Codie, Rylee, Owen, and Shay; her siblings, Walter H. Whittle, Barbara Greenhalgh, and Anne Mendes; and many nieces and nephews.

Additionally, she will be missed by her cherished cat, Prudence, as well as her late cat, Midnite.

She was the daughter of the late Walter and Jeannette (Lavoie) Whittle, mother of the late Eddie Reynolds and sister of the late Alphonse Whittle. 

Friends and family will gather to honor Jeannette's remarkable life and legacy. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 8:15 AM to 10:15 AM at Auclair Funeral Home in Fall River, MA. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas More Church in Somerset, MA. Burial at Nathan Slade Cemetery, Somerset.
