Jeannette "M&egravemére" (Charest) Binette, 91, of Briggs Rd., Westport, formerly of Fall River, widow of Donat N. Binette, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008.

A Westport resident since 1957, she was employed by Nancy Dress, Fall River and was a member of the Women's Guild of Our Lady of Grace Parish, Westport.

She leaves 2 children, Paul H. Binette and Simone Blanchette and her husband Lucien, all of Westport; a daughter-in-law, Terrie (Belcher) Binette of Portsmouth, RI; grandchildren, Susan Adams, Eric Blanchette, John-Paul, Paul J., Mark and Michael Binette, Ann M. Karl, Jacqueline Davis and Kellie A. Levrault; 19 great-grandchildren, siblings, Raymond Charest of Fall River and Bertha Belanger of Port St. Lucie, FL and nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Abdon and Merina (Croteau) Charest, mother of the late George D. Binette; mother-in-law of the late Paula (Cleary) Binette and Theresa (Machado) Binette and sister of the late Noella Croteau and Loretta, Benoit and Blanche Charest.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:45 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.

Visitation, Friday 5:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA AND BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham MA 01701 or Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 770 Dedham St., Canton MA 02021.
