Jeanne (Fontaine) Mello

Jeanne (Fontaine) Mello, 66, of Center St., Fall River, formerly of Assonet, widow of John Mello, died Sunday, September 19, 2010. She leaves 5 children, Pamela J. Verissimo (husband Shorty), Raymond Mello, Mark Mello (wife Tracey), and Greg Mello (wife Katie), all of Fall River and Craig Mello of Tiverton; 11 grandchildren, Kevin, Keith, Tonya, Jessica, Justin, Mark, Tori, Kristen, Carolyn, Sierra and Kelsey; 6 great-grandchildren, Dylan, Owen, Joseph, Hunter, Kaida and Konnor; siblings, Herbert Fontaine of Portsmouth, RI, Norman Fontaine of East Providence, Louise Gardella of San Diego, CA, Barbara Bonas of Tiverton, Roger Fontaine of N.Carolina and Maureen Gagnon, William Fontaine and Alan Fontaine, all of Fall River,and many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Anna (Kelman) Fontaine and the sister of the late Gladys Gagne, Anna Smith, Joan Lafleur, Helen Thibault, and Wilfred, Robert Fontaine. Her funeral service will be held Thursday morning at 11:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
