Jeanne L. (Carrier) Fontaine

Jeanne L. "Mém&egravere" (Carrier) Fontaine, 87, formerly of Rolling Green Drive, Fall River and Swansea, wife of the late Norman T. "Pép&egravere" Fontaine, entered into rest Monday, November 16, 2015. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, now UNITE and the Swansea Women's Guild and attended the Fall River Senior Center. She leaves six children, Claudette Pacheco Solitro of So. Carolina, Paul Fontaine of Fall River, Susan Ksen of Palm Coast, FL, Patricia Heaslip of Seekonk, Keith Fontaine of Swansea and Kenneth Fontaine of Bridgewater; grandchildren, Dawn, Kim, Dean, Kerri, Candace, Lisa, Jillian, Bradley, Ava, Alexia, Marissa and Gabrielle; 9 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lucille Clement of Maine; and nieces and nephews. She was the grandmother of the late Billy Ksen, Jr.; the daughter of the late Joseph and Blandine (DeCosse) Carrier and the sister of the late Rita Stump, Irene Champagne and Hector "Pete", Norman, Joseph and Robert Carrier. Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Holy Name Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
