Jason W. Moniz

Jason W. Moniz, 35, of Assonet, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018.
An outdoorsman, he loved fishing and hunting. He was a skilled carpenter and liked working with his hands.
He was the son of Sharon (DesRoches) Pelletier (husband Gary) of Dartmouth and Daniel D. Moniz (wife Claire) of Berkley; father of Felisha E. and Samantha S. Moniz of Dartmouth; the brother of Justin T. and Alyson K. Pelletier, both of Dartmouth, Jeffrey and Nicole Moniz, both of Berkley and Amanda DesRoches Gross of Seneca, NY; grandson of Grace and Stephen Rose of Assonet, Carolyn and Ronald Pelletier of Westport and the late Lori and Leonard Moniz and Norman and Helen DesRoches great-grandson of the late Sadie Cambra, great-nephew of the late Titia Georgeanna Cambra; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation will be held Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St. Fall River with a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Large parking area and barrier-free entrance to rear of funeral home.
