Jarod H. Teixeira

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of the most handsome man Jarod H. Teixeira of Fairhaven, MA who passed away unexpectedly at work in New York on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at the age of 43.

Jarod was forever and always will be the light and the most loving caring husband, best friend and babe of Ashley Teixeira.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Shyla Teixeira and Willow Lennie Teixeira and  always missed by his dog Stanley “beebus” Teixeira .

Jarod also leaves his mother, Mary Teixeira was the son of the late Isidro Teixeira;

his brother Eric Teixeira (wife Sandy Teixeira); his sister Jillian Teixeira (partner Jacob Marshall);

his grandmothers Josefa Teixeira (late husband Gabriel Teixeira) and Patricia Valero (late husband Joseph Valero).

In addition, Jarod leaves his mother in law, Maria Teixeira (late husband Joao Teixeira); in laws, Cheri Santos (husband George Santos) and Joshua Teixeira (wife Jennifer Teixeira); He was the uncle of Dylan, Jacob, Dominic, Aiden, Autumn, Ciera, Luke and Lincoln. Jarod also leaves numerous other relatives and close friends.

Jarod was born and raised in Fall River Massachusetts. He loved bikes, cars, fishing and basically anything to do with having everyone together having a great time. Jarod was the light and life of the party with his comical presence and beautiful smile.  Jarod had the personality and natural charisma to make everyone laugh no matter the situation, and his laugh was infectious to everyone around him. He was an employee of United Civil and part of local 223. Jarod was the hardest worker and just wanted to make his family proud which he always did and always be remembered for. He focused on providing his family with the best life possible without worrying about himself.

Jarod was a truly great man whose impact will be forever felt by his family, who loves him dearly. He was a selfless man whose passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of his loved ones. His ability to sacrifice, provide, support, forgive, and love will be forever ingrained in all he knew.

Being away all week and coming home on the weekend was always a countdown on when to feel his touch. There forever will be a countdown until we can see your beautiful face again babe.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 7, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.

His Funeral Mass will follow at St. Joseph’s Church, North Main St., at 12:00 noon.
Burial will take place at Notre Dame Cemetery.
