Jan T. Kosinski

Jan T. Kosinski, 72, of Tiverton, RI passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at home. He was the son of the late Edwin P. Kosinski and Mary F. (Jaworski) Kosinski. He was the husband of 31 years of the late Julia M. “Julie” (Guinen) Kosinski.

Jan served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War from 1970 to 1972. He was the owner of Janko Beverage Systems. He was a longtime supporter of Forever Paws Animal Shelter fostering and adopting several dogs, including his dog Codie, his best buddy who provided companionship to Jan for many years.

Jan was a very caring man who could be counted on at any time for any reason. He always had a smile and made you feel like you were the most special person to him. He had a winning personality with a sense of humor to match. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Leanne Haggerty of East Sandwich, her husband Michael, their daughters Sarah and Olivia and son Robert Haggerty; his brothers, Stephen E. Kosinski (wife Cynthia) of Winsted, CT, Charles J. Kosinski (wife Susan) of Swansea, nieces Sarah Morin, Carolyn Fisher and Lauren Fardig, nephew Shawn Kosinski, stepson Jamie Argo (wife Jennifer) of Fall River, and their daughters Sydney and Kennedy. Jan deeply thanks Julie’s family and his neighbors for being there for him.
