James J. Terceiro

James J. Terceiro, 69, of Swansea, MA passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 15th, 2023 surrounded by his family.

James was born in Fall River, MA to the late George and Guilhermina Terceiro, where he worked for many years at Duro Textiles. While not working James enjoyed golfing, trips to the casino, fishing, sitting by the water, and spending time with his loved ones.

James leaves behind his fiancé Joanne M. Plozai, his daughter Stacey Terceiro of Fall River, MA, his stepchildren Victoria Plozai and her partner William Carvalho of Fall River, MA, Joseph Nelson and his husband Erik Nelson of Providence, RI, his grandson Jacob Brightman of Fall River, MA, many nieces and nephews, and his furry grandchildren Paisley, Chi Chi, Stanford, and Susan.

James was predeceased by his sister Linda Torres (Terceiro) of Fall River, MA, two brothers George and Gary Terceiro of Fall River, MA, and his former wife Catherine Terceiro (Ferreira) of Fall River, MA.

A celebration of life will be held in his honor in lieu of traditional funeral services at a later date.
