obituary: JAMES M. SMITH James M. Smith, 57, of 1197 Robeson St., Fall River, died Thursday, November 3, 2005 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, the son of the late James H. and Dorothy (Norman) Smith, he lived in Tiverton and Fall River most of his life. A Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, he was an automobile mechanic, having been employed by Knight's Quality Service Station. Survivors include a son, James R. Smith of Fall River. A funeral service will be held Monday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow.
