James "Jim" Ribeiro

James "Jim" Ribeiro, 79, of Fall River, husband of the late Doris E. (Lavallee) Ribeiro, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012. An Air Force veteran of the Korean War, he was employed by Hoyt Manufacturing, Westport and was a Fall River Fire Department mechanic. He leaves a son, David Ribeiro and his wife Pauline of Fall River; grandchildren, Julie Boardman and her husband Daniel, Michael Ribeiro, and Sarah-Joy Souza and her husband Jonathan; great-grandchildren, Emily, Samuel, and Molly Boardman, and Jonathan Souza, Jr.; brothers, Manuel Ribeiro and Joseph Ribeiro, both of Fall River; and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Joaquim and Mary (Vieira) Ribeiro; and the brother of the late Harold Ribeiro and Ann Leclerc. His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Rosary Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Friday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
