James W. O'Connor

James W. O’Connor, 79, of Fall River, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023.

He was the husband of Beverly A. (Aubin) O’Connor.

Born in Bronx, New York, James was the son of the late James and Elizabeth (Evansky) O’Connor.

A professional D.J., James was the owner of Sounds of Jimmy D. and also was a repairman known as “Mr.Fix it”. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.

Jimmy was a fisherman, an Elvis fan, classic car enthusiast and he also enjoyed traveling.

Besides his wife of 30 years, he leaves a son, Chad Nunes and his wife Nicole; two granddaughters, Annika and Lucy; a sister, Mary Switizer.

His funeral was private. Burial was at St. Patrick Cemetery.
