James P. Mcnerney

James P. “Jimbo” McNerney, 69, of Fall River, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024.

Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Harold E. and Marie Jeanne (Houde) McNerney.

James was employed at Riveredge Printers, Harodite Industries, Joann Fabric, and Duro. He was the life of the party and always gregarious. He enjoyed going out to lunch with friends and taking trips with his granddaughter, Dakota. He was often found completing a crossword or playing Yahtzee with his family.

James is survived by his children, Michael J. McNerney (fiancée Jenna Noiseux), and Hayley Moniz; his grandchildren, Dakota Moniz, Aiden Griffin, and Logan Griffin; and his siblings, John McNerney, Edward McNerney, Louise McNerney, and Patrick McNerney. Lifelong friends George N, and Chris T.

He was the brother of the late Diane Stanton and Charles McNerney. Friend of the late Gus.

A visitation will be held Monday, March 25, from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Family will begin greeting guests starting at 9:00AM, on Tuesday, March 26, with a funeral service at 10:00AM.
