Jacqueline D. (Carter) Banks

Jacqueline D. (Carter) Banks, 79, of O'Grady St., Fall River, widow of Theodore H. Banks, died Friday, April 22, 2011. A member of the VFW Auxiliary, Bedford St., she was employed by the Fall River Unemployment Office, Fall River Nursing Home and in the Fall River School Department Lunch Program at the Kuss Middle School. She leaves 2 children, GySgt. Theodore H. Banks, Jr., USMC, Ret. of Fall River and his companion Anna Goldrese and Cynthia L. Britt and her husband Reggie of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Danielle Ouellette, Terrell Alves, Devon Alves and Xavier Britt; great-grandchildren, Sincere, Terrell and Nania Alves; brothers, Dr. Russell Carter of Virginia Beach and Charles Carter of Cleveland, OH; many nieces and nephews including Cheryl Brown Jelks and her best friend Margie Thompson. She was the daughter of the late George and Minnie (Wilson) Carter; and the sister of the late Janice Walker, Ethel Laws and James, William, and George Carter. Her funeral service will be held Monday evening at 7:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Monday prior to the service 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
