Irene J Souza

Irene J. Souza, 87, a retired hairdresser, passed away at home on Sunday, January 19, 2025.

For decades, Irene was an integral part of the Beben Sisters Beauty Salon on Brayton Avenue. Her hobbies included knitting and crocheting.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Frank C. "Buddy" Souza, siblings, Roger Beben and Robert Beben and Joan Stys and parents Stephen W. Beben and Stella (Makuch) Beben.  She leaves a brother, Stephen Beben and his wife Pauline and sisters-in-law Eleanor Beben and Ann Marie Beben, as well as many loving nieces and nephews and her dog Gee Wiz #5.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River with a Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Church, Stafford Rd. Fall River at 10:00 AM.  Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
