Irene (Pineault) Paradis

Irene (Pineault) Paradis, 90, of Davol St., Fall River, formerly of Tiverton, wife of sixty two years of the late Oscar J. Paradis, died Saturday, December 3, 2011. A graduate of Thibodeau Business College, she was employed by Tiverton School Department. She was a hospital volunteer, past-treasurer of the Friends of Saint Anne's Hospital, past-treasurer of St. Anne's Senior Citizens Club, and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of St. Anne Parish. She was a thirty year breast cancer survivor, meeting each day with strength, courage and dignity. She leaves a daughter, Rachel M. Paradis of Riverside, RI; two sisters, Lucille Duquette and Claire Melancon Franco, both of Fall River; and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Albert A. and Marie (Belanger) Pineault. Her funeral will be held Monday at 11:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 11:30 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation Monday morning prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
