Irene (Petrin) Pacheco

Irene (Petrin) Pacheco, 88, of Beach St., Fall River, widow of James P. Pacheco, Sr., entered into the presence of the Lord, Thursday, June 30, 2011. A member of ILGWU, now UNITE, she was employed by K & G Mfg., Barbara Pat Mfg., and A & A Mfg., retiring in 1984. A faithful, 33 year member of Grace Gospel Church, she was involved in the Women's Ministry and Mom's in Touch. A loving mother and grandmother, she cherished spending time with her family. She leaves five children, James P. Pacheco, Jr. (wife Kim) of Acushnet, David Pacheco (wife Brenda) of New Bedford, Robert Pacheco (wife Cheryl) of Fall River, Colette Johnson (husband Paul) of Hamden, CT, and Mark Pacheco (wife Vicki) of Swansea; grandchildren, Scott, Angel, Russel (wife Talitha), Alan and Jennifer Pacheco, Daniel and Hannah Johnson, and Rebecca Porras (husband Kenny; great-grandchildren, Jenea Grace and Caleb James Porras; and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Omer and Roseanna (Lapre) Petrin and the sister of the late George Petrin. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with funeral service in Grace Gospel Church, 271 Sharps Lot Rd., Swansea at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Tuesday 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
