Irene (Boas) Harrison

Irene (Boas) Harrison, 91, of Highland Ave., Fall River, formerly of Gagnon St. and Pleasant St., died Monday, May 14, 2007 at Catholic Memorial Home. She was the wife of the late Louis Harrison. A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Romain and Almanda (Labonte) Boas. She was employed by Shelburne Shirt Company, was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of Notre Dame Parish and enjoyed bingo. She is survived by a daughter, Claire Carvalho and her husband William of Reading, MA; a son, Raymond A. Harrison and his wife Nancy of Fall River; a daughter-in-law, Janet Harrison of Fall River; a former daughter-in-law, Paula Harrison of Fall River; 10 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Robert Harrison and the sister of the late Ernest Boas. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Tuesday 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
